This week Larch class produced some outstanding writing which left Mrs Charman speechless! The children have been writing their own version of The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch with a focus on engaging the reader. The descriptive writing and dramatic language was fantastic. Well done Larch class!

One sunny, summery day Mr Grinling was polishing his mammoth lighthouse while moody Mrs Grinling was cooking for the 5th time for Mr Grinling, instead of relaxing in the sun outside! While Mr Grinling was polish gin his lighthouse he saw a beautiful butterfly flying around. It wasn't the body that made it beautiful, it was the antenna that curved like a peacock's feathers in the summer breeze!
